Harish Moorjani, MD

Harish Moorjani, MD, is an Infectious Disease Specialist at Hudson Infectious Diseases

Associates, PC, located in Briarcliff Manor, NY. Dr. Moorjani serves as Clinical Assistant

Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla NY. He also practices at

Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, and Hudson Valley Hospital Center in

Cortlandt Manor, all in New York.

 

Dr Moorjani received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from Maulana Azad

Medical College and his medical degree from the University of Delhi, both in New Delhi,

India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at United Hospital Medical

Center and University Hospital of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ, and a

fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the State University of New York at Stony Brook

(SUNY), in Stony Brook, NY.

 

Dr Moorjani is an Infectious Diseases Consultant for the NY State Department of

Corrections and the Westchester County Jail, where he has been supervising the

management and treatment of HIV and hepatitis in the corrections community for the

past two decades. During his tenure Dr. Moorjani has helped to develop policies and

care delivery systems for providing infectious disease services ( Covid 19, HIV, Hepatitis,

Tuberculosis, Sexually transmitted diseases etc.) to the incarcerated population.

 

Since January 2020, Dr. Moorjani has provided care to more than 2000 patients with

Covid 19 both in the inpatient and outpatient setting in Westchester County, NY.

 

Dr. Moorjani served as a Medical Director for the Infectious Disease clinic at

Westchester Medical Center from 2014 to 2020, where he re-engineered the care

delivery program for the underserved population of Westchester and surrounding

counties, NY. In this position Dr. Moorjani successfully created the first PCMH level 3

infectious disease clinic in USA.

 

Dr. Moorjani is a member of the American

Academy of HIV Medicine and the Infectious Diseases Society of America, he is board

certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
